Oke – EPK
Born in Nigeria and based in Luxembourg, Oke is a boundary-breaking artist blending African soul, electronic pop, and cinematic storytelling into a sound that feels both global and deeply personal. Drawing from his Yoruba roots and European upbringing, Oke’s music explores identity, self-belief, and the power of transformation through a bold, multi-persona project known as the ALTER-EGO universe.
Each alter-ego reveals a different facet of Oke’s spirit, including Stella Ross, the unapologetic feminine force at the heart of his new single “Sensational.” His latest ALTER-EGO EP (released February 20th, 2026) unites these characters into a single narrative about love, freedom, and becoming your most authentic self.
These are more than songs, they’re characters, worlds, and invitations. With this EP, Oke moves between Yoruba roots, European style, and a boundaryless soundscape to deliver a statement that’s as playful as it is powerful. This is music that liberates, and it’s only the beginning.
Oke has always felt a sense of home in Luxembourg, ever since settling here from Nigeria at the age of eight in 2008. Though his musical journey started in a church choir in Nigeria, it wasn’t until moving to Luxembourg that he properly developed his melodic pop universe. He started to take music more seriously in 2017, setting the stage for his current musical project, “Oke.”
Since his emergence out of the Luxembourgish music scene, Oke has gained recognition as one of the country’s most exciting new exports, performing at Bushfire Festival (Eswatini), one of the winners of the European Emerging Bands Contest (Strasbourg) and Africa Rising Music Conference (Johannesburg), and has drawn early support from tastemaker outlets and radio stations worldwide, including WDR Funkhaus Europa (Germany), NDR (Germany), Y FM (South Africa), Joy FM (Turkey), Radio 3 (Spain), and many more. Oke has released over 35 songs, breaking several barriers as a local independent artist, and has become now one of the most streamed artists from Luxembourg (with over 4 million Spotify streams in the past 12 months alone). Oke has worked with international labels like Sony Music, Soave, PARAISO, and Universal, recently signed a publishing deal with Downtown Music Publishing, and has received extensive national coverage across media like RTL (“A new star on Luxembourg’s music scene”), ELDO’s Chartbreaker, Radio ARA, Radio Latina, and Culture.lu (“Oke : The Next Shining Star”).
Beyond the numbers, Oke’s art is rooted in storytelling. His music and visuals channel Yoruba spirituality, queer confidence, and cinematic emotion into a vivid world that blurs genre and geography. Whether performing live or crafting his next persona, Oke stands for freedom of expression and the beauty of becoming — an artist determined to make the world, and everyone in it, feel sensational.
